Emily in Paris Filming Locations: Every Season’s Must See Spots
Emily in Paris, as mindless as it is, is also a special show to me – as the first season came out during Covid while I was desperately waiting to move to France, and helped to make the wait a little more bearable.
Outside of Emily’s Apartment in Paris; December 2025
Now having lived in Paris for years, as someone who loves to re-watch Emily in Paris every year – I love to go on a location scouting adventure in the city as each new season comes out to find all of the Emily in Paris locations in France’s capital.
This year, as the fifth season of Emily in Paris having just been released on December 18th, 2025, alongside its filming locations – I’ve compiled the ultimate Emily in Paris filming locations list to help you discover all of your favorite Emily in Paris spots across all five seasons.
Sit back with your cup of coffee and croissant, and get ready to scroll and discover over 50 iconic Emily in Paris filming locations – explored and vetted by a local Parisian herself.
Iconic Emily in Paris Filming Locations from Every Season
These are the filming locations in Emily in Paris that have made an appearance throughout all five seasons of the show.
Emily’s Apartment
Often now flooded with tourists in what was once a quiet, residential neighborhood just steps away from the Panthéon – Emily’s apartment is a real building in Paris nestled in a cozy pocket in the 5th arrondissement.
The famous brown doors outside of Emily’s apartment building; December 2025
The iconic golden brown door building is where Emily, Mindy, Gabriel, and later even Camille and Sofie live. The characters often pass through the square, with several scenes filmed here – from Emily’s birthday dinner party to Emily running into Gabriel after spending the night with Alfie.
Address: Place de l’Estrapade, 75005 Paris
Gabriel’s Restaurant
Located just steps away from Emily’s apartment, just like in the show – Gabriel’s restaurant really does have a red awning in real life – but it’s real name is Bistro Terra Nera.
Outside of Gabriel’s restaurant in Paris; December 2025
As a real Italian restaurant opposite Emily’s apartment building, this is where Gabriel works in the show – at first as Le Deux Comperes, then Chez Laveaux (as Antoine invested in it as a part of his business) (the two friends in English) and finally as Gabriel’s own restaurant called l’Esprit de Gigi – named in honor of his grandmother.
The real restaurant is Bistro Terra Nera, an Italian restaurant and right opposite Emily and Gabriel’s apartment building.
Several scenes in the show are filmed here, as this is often where the characters meet either for dinner or just to hang out together after work.
Address: 18 Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, 75005
Emily’s Bakery
Known as La Boulangerie Moderne, this is the bakery located right next door to Gabriel’s restaurant – this is where Emily tries her first real croissant and pain au chocolat, in addition to a French woman correcting Emily’s very American French.
Emily’s bakery is a popular, local stop for people in between work or school for a quick lunch; December 2025
In real life, I have to be honest – most times when I walk by (and I’ve walked by Emily’s apartment and little square here several times over the past 4 years living here while the show has been airing), the bakery is usually boarded up and closed.
However, luckily – it seems to be open and running as of December 2025! If you plan on visiting Paris, just know that on certain days of the year (New Year’s Day, Bastille Day Armstice, etc.) bakeries usually close in order to align with French public holidays.
Address: 16 Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, 75005
Emily in Paris Savoir/Agence Grateau Office
At first known as Savoir and later Sylvie’s own company called Agence Grateau, this is where Emily, Sylvie, Luc, and Julien work and spend lots of time together.
Emily’s office takes place in Place de Valois in Paris outside of “Galerie Patrick Fourtin”
The characters spend nearly every episode here, with the exterior shot of the office being shown in Emily in Paris several times throughout all five seasons of the show.
Address: Place de Valois, 75001 Paris
Palais Royal (Emily and Mindy’s Park/Meet Up Spot)
One of the prettiest parks in Paris, Palais Royal is a quiet garden where Emily and Mindy meet for the first time – quickly becoming friends.
Palais Royal is the park in Paris where Mindy and Emily meet for the first time; it’s very close to Emily’s office – so the location makes sense!
This park is where Mindy reveals her singing voice, and encourages Emily to go for it with Gabriel despite having made a pact with Camille at the end of season 2.
“No, you are not making a major life decision based on a manipulative pinky swear. Stop saying should. Okay, you need to decide what you want, and not what’s going to make everybody else happy.”
Palais Royal is also shown in the show when:
Alfie and Emily meet up in the first episode of season 3, “I Have Two Lovers”
When Gabriel is looking at the young children thinking about his future in season 3, episode 9 “Love is in the Air”
Address: 8 Rue de Montpensier, 75001 Paris
Luc & Emily’s Café: Le Flore-en-L’Île
Located on the beautiful island in the middle of Paris, better known as Île Saint-Louis, the café where Emily ends up sitting with Luc (and later meets with him again at during season 3 to discuss the strife between Madeleine and Sylvie) is called Le Flore-en-L’Île.
Le Flore-en-L’Île is the café where Emily and Luc meet in both season 1 and season 3!
In season 1, this is where Luc explains the cultural differences to Emily between France and the United States.
“Exactly, a balance… and I think the Americans have the wrong balance. You live to work. We work to live. It’s good to make money, but what you say success I say is punishment. ”
Address: 42 Quai d’Orléans, 75004 Paris
Bistro Valois
Early on in the series, Emily finds herself having lunch with her co-workers – and this real-life restaurant is knonw as Bistro Valois, which really is just steps away from Emily’s office in the same square.
Bistro Valois is located in the same square where Emily’s office building is, and is shown several times throughout the show.
Bistro Valois is notably where Sylvie, Luc, and Julien discover that Brigitte Macron, the president of France’s wife, has retweeted Emily’s post that “le vagin n’est pas masculine” and she is asked to join the table. It’s also where, at the end of season 2 – Sylvie asks Emily to join her new French company.
“You’re very, very good at your job… so, you’d have to stay in Paris for longer than you planned. I know you have a life back in Chicago, but we’re offering you one here.”
Bistro Valois is shown again in part 1 of season 4 when Laurent and Sylvie meet the head of JVMA, Louis de Leon, to discuss Laurent’s new club in Paris.
Address: Place de Valois, 75001 Paris
Emily in Paris Season 1 Filming Locations
Place Dalida
Nestled at the end of what’s known as the prettiest street in Paris, Place Dalida is located at the end of Rue l’Abreuvoir – with views of the Sacré-Cœur in the background, perfect for one of Emily’s first marketing campaigns in Paris for Hastens Beds to “sleep under the stars”.
Place Dalida is known for having views of the Sacré-Cœur in the background, as shown on Emily in Paris.
It’s here where Gabriel later sees a picture of Camille and Emily in the bed together, and he likes the photo.
Address: Rue de l'Abreuvoir, 75018 Paris
Panthéon
This is around the area where Emily breaks up with her boyfriend in Chicago in the second episode of the first season. The filmography works well, because her apartment is around the corner from the Panthéon.
Emily lives a mere steps away from the Panthéon, making an area we see often filmed during Emily in Paris.
Address: Place du Panthéon, 75005 Paris
Jardin du Luxembourg
We can see Emily running through Jardin du Luxembourg first thing in the second episode of the first season of Emily in Paris. This makes a lot of sense, as this park is right by her apartment.
Jardin du Luxembourg is close to Emily’s apartment, so it makes sense we see her running through here in season 1.
This is actually my all-time favorite park and garden in all of Paris, so be sure to sit and enjoy the roses (not just sniff them while running by, like Emily) while you’re here!
Address: 15 Rue de Vaugirard, 75006 Paris
Café de Flore
At this famous café in Paris, we see Emily meet and flirt with a French guy – as she enjoys a glass of wine outside.
Cafe de Flore is where Emily meets one of her first French flings in Paris.
Address: 172 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris
Canal Saint-Martin
Also shown in The Summer I Turned Pretty, we see Canal Saint-Martin several times throughout Emily in Paris.
Canal St. Martin is shown several times throughout Emily in Paris, from season 1 to season 5!
We see it in season 1 when Emily is on a double date with Camille and Gabriel. Later in season 3, Gabriel confesses his love for Emily while drunk when she meets him and finds him drinking along the canal.
Most recently, we see Canal Saint-Martin in season 5 of Emily in Paris when Mindy, Nico, Emily, and Marcello try to gain a client for Marcello and Nico’s new business.
Address: Canal Saint-Martin, 75010 Paris
Place Vendôme
In the first season of Emily in Paris, Emily is invited to an influencer event at The Hôtel d’Evreux – located in the pristine Place Vendome, which is surrounded by high-end designer shopping.
Place de Vendôme is where Emily attends an influencer event in season 1; December 2025
Address: 19 Place du Vendôme, 75001 Paris
La Maison Rose
In the fifth episode of season 1, Emily and Mindy are caught having a glass of white wine and small dessert at the famous La Maison Rose in Paris.
“That’s censorship! She can’t force you to delete social media… get your dad’s lawyers involved. ”
La Maison Rose is where Mind and Emily meet up in the middle of season 1; September 2025
It’s here where Mindy and Emily decide to post in Paris like crazy for one last hurrah before deleting her account.
In this montage, the two also visit two other iconic Moulin Rouge and Les Des Plateux.
Address: 2 Rue de l’Abreuvoir, 75018 Paris
Palais Garnier
In the sixth episode of the first season of Emily in Paris, “Ringarde” – Emily is seen attending a show at the Palais Garnier with the guy she met at Café de Flore.
Palais Garnier is where Emily goes with Thomas and runs into Pierre Cadault!
Address: Place de l’Opéra, 75009 Paris
Pont Alexandre III
This beautiful and cinematic bridge in Paris, Pont Alexandre III, is where Antoine and the Savoir team meet to film a perfume commercial – and where Emily argues that nudity won’t appeal to Americans the way it might to other European cultures.
“I want to make sure that De L’Heure gets De More followers.”
Pont Alexandre III is where Emily gets her first taste on the differences between French and American culture when shooting a commercial with Antoine.
Address: Quai d’Orsay, 75008 Paris
Emily in Paris Season 2 Filming Locations
Le Café Marly
Starting off the second season of Emily in Paris’s filming locations strong with this high-end restaurant, Le Café Marly is located right next to the Louvre with exquisite views of the infamous Parisian museum.
This is where Camille meets with both Sylvie and Emily to discuss Gabriel staying in Paris.
Le Café Marly offers stunning views of the Louvre, as the cafe is just to the left of this picture
Address: 93 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris
Le Champo Cinema
This is the movie theater where Luc takes Emily to a French movie, Jules and Jim, about a ménage à trois – referring to her love triangle with Gabriel and Camille.
Want to see me explore Le Champ Cinema in person? Check out my Emily in Paris filming locations video for season 2 below!
Address: 51 Rue des Écoles, 75005 Paris
Fontaine Saint-Michel
Not far away from the movie theater is Fontaine Saint-Michel, where Mindy meets Benoit and Etienne to perform without the need for working papers as promised – and she’s surprised to realize they’re busking.
This is actually a really underrated and charming part of Paris, and this exact spot where Mindy sings is home to one of the most authentic Christmas markets in Paris.
This is where Mindy goes budking with Etienne and Benoit for the first time!
Address: Place Saint-Michel, 75005 Paris
Breakfast in America
Also around the corner from the cinema and in the Latin Quarter is the American diner inspired restaurant called, “Breakfast in America” – where Emily meets Alfie so that he can order his coffee in English in peace.
“Well Alfie, I’m impressed… you found the least Parisian place in all of Paris for us to do our French class assignment.”
This location on Rue des Écoles is often sited as the Emily in Paris location, but the real one they shot the exteriors at is really in Le Marais!
Just remember, in Paris – there are a couple of “Breakfast in America” locations, but the Emily in Paris filming location is the one located in the 4th arrondissement in Le Marais. Everyone online will tell you it’s the location in the Latin Quarter on Rue des Écoles, but that’s not the location they shot for the show as I have been there in person to check. I double checked watching the show again, as the shot in the show has an exterior blue door to the left and “4” street number marking beside it.
Furthermore, as in the show – Emily is walking around a corner and into the diner (and this location is not on a corner street), it appears they shot the interiors elsewhere. But this is 100% the location they filmed the exteriors B-roll shots.
Similar to Belly’s café in The Summer I Turned Pretty, there is usually a picture outside the window saying Emily in Paris was filmed there, so you’ll know for sure you’re in the right place.
Address: 4 Rue des Malher, 75004 Paris
La Samaritaine
This is one of Paris’s major department stores, but in the context of Emily in Paris – this is where Emily goes with one of her French classmates and she tries to shoplift.
I think of this scene every time I walk by La Samaritaine, now – which is often as it’s in the city center of Paris!
La Samaritaine is a department store in France shown several times in Emily and Paris.
Fun fact, but La Samaritaine is shown a second time in season 2 that many may not notice – in episode 9, “Scents & sensibility” at a Maison Lavaux event.
We also see the department store again in season 4, as this is where Sylvie and Genevieve walking out with department store bags after a shopping spree and an attempt to give Genevieve a French makeover.
Address: 9 Rue de la Monnaie, 75001 Paris
Pont Des Artes
One of what I believe to be one of the most beautiful spots in Paris (even though the old bridge always makes me terrified of dropping my phone between the cracks) – Pont Des Artes serves as a beautiful backdrop for both Benoit and Mindy as they busk.
Pont Neuf is where Mindy and Benoit sing together in season 2!
If you didn’t know, Pont Des Artes was once the infamous “love lock” bridge in Paris– but they had to remove the locks and replace it with more supportive glass structures as the bridge got too heavy and was weighing it down.
Trust me, when you walk across the bridge… you’ll understand why Paris had to kill this one tourist tradition.
Address: Pont des Artes, 75005 Paris
Place des Voges
One of the most peaceful parks in all of Paris, Places des Voges is where Mindy and Benoit are eating falafel and kiss one another for the first time.
Places des Voges is where Mindy and Benoit end up kissing with “garlic breath” in season 2 of Emily in Paris.
The show really got this small detail with them eating falafel right, as the incredible L’as du Falafel restaurant (which always has a long line!) is located just around the corner from the park.
Address: Place des Voges, 75004 Paris
Père-Lachaise Cemetary
This is the cemetery where Luc takes Emily out for a birthday lunch, and this is where they end up discussing the afterlife – where Luc pontificates he believes in none, and that every minute of life should be enjoyed.
Address: Père-Lachaise Cemetary, 75020 Paris
Pont Neuf
Known as the oldest bridge in Paris, this is where we see Emily having her “existential” Parisian moment deciding whether to take the job offer from Sylvie or to stay “on track” with her career path in Chicago with Madeline.
We see this same spot again in season 4 when Gabriel and Emily say “I love you” for the first time.
“I love you Emily… I hope you know that.”
Pont Neuf is shown twice in Emily in Paris in season 2 and again in season 4. Emily also goes running on Pont Neuf when she notices Paris is full of “hot men” and trips!
Address: Pont Neuf, 75001 Paris

La Villette
This is where in the third season that Gabriel, Emily, Mindy, and Nico all go to watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days in Parc de la Villette.

La Villette is where Emily, Gabriel, Mindy, and Nico go to watch a movie in the park.
Address: 211 Avenue Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris
Parc des Buttes Chaumont
Truly the only “forest away from the city” within Paris (besides Bois de Vincennes outside of the city) – this is a park popular amongst locals.
Parc des Buttes Chaumont is where Emily and Alfie picnic while she’s unemployed.
This is where Alfie and Emily have a picnic in the middle of the day as she starts her “funployment” in between jobs.
Address: 1 Rue Botzaris, 75019 Paris
Sacré-Cœur
Near the end of the third season, we see Emily and Gabriel scouting for locations to propose to Camille – and while the view of the city is stunning from Montmartre, Gabriel
“I don’t think you’re the first person to have this idea…”
The Sacré-Cœur is shown several times throughout the show: when Emily goes running, with Marcelo, and most notably with Gabriel while he’s scouting locations in Paris to propose to Camille.
We also see Emily and Marcello here later in season 4, as this is where they end their “all night” long date by watching the sunrise over the city from Montmartre.
Address: 35 Rue du Chevalier de la Barre 75018 Paris
The Wall of Love

Address: 14 Place des Abbesses, 75018 Paris
Jardin des Tuileries
While enjoying a Kir Roayle with Luc and Julien, Emily learns a stereotype (which is completely not true, by the way) – about the Ferris Wheel in Paris.
Jardin des Tuileries is shown several times in Emily in Paris: from Emily on her runs to enjoying a Kir Royal with Luc and Julien in the summer.
Address: Jardin des Tuileries, 75001 Paris
Fête des Tuileries
This is the spot where Sylvie tracks Emily down on her Instagram stories while she’s unemployed. She and Mindy are found on the bumper cars in the little “carnival” in Jardin des Tuileries – which is only open during the summer and Christmas time.
“Ugh, Sylvie believe it or not, I don’t have an ulterior motive… I’m not Madeleine…I really want you to succeed. ”
Emily and Mindy are playfully on bumper cars when Sylvie unexpectedly approaches them.
Address: Jardin des Tuileries, 75001 Paris
Les Temps des Cerises
This is the café near Le Marais where Sylvie meets up with Luc and Julien to dicuss Nico’s offer from JVMA on the longest day of the year – Fête de la musique.

Place Juliette Greco
While Mindy and Étienne are walking toward Benoît to rehearse for the band, they find him on the phone standing right by Place Juliette Greco – discovering that they have secured a gig at La Trompette Bleu.
This square is where Mindy meets her band for rehearsal.
I recognized this Emily in Paris filming location right away during the second season, as I used to walk this exact street every day going to French class. It’s right in between Les Deux Maggots and Café de Flore.
Address: 1 Place Saint-Germain des Prés, 75006 Paris
Gare du Nord
This is the train station where Emily goes to meet Alfie after he gets back from London, and she learns that he hasn’t told his family about her yet.

Au Rendez-Vous des Amis
This is where Emily and Luc enjoy a drink together after he shows her the first neighborhood he lived in Paris. It’s also where Emily gets a surprise call from Gabriel!

“Gabriel... Gabriel! No way! You have to answer!”

By the way, the stereotype of the waiter not wanting to serve you and then never get you the bill is 100% true!

Square des arènes de Lutèce
After zooming in very closely on Emily in Paris season 5 and trying to figure out the restaurant name in the background, I finally found it – the street where Emily and Mindy are making out behind Emily’s back after Mindy declines a wine and yap session with Emily after her show at the Crazy Horse.
Address: 19 Rue de Navarre, 75005 Paris
Hôtel Dame des Arts
Having noticed it right away the minute they showed Alfie on the rooftop in season 5, I quickly realized Alfie was standing when he called Mindy in Venice was where I took myself for my 26th birthday – one of the (if not, the prettiest) rooftop bars in Paris: Hôtel Dame des Arts.
You have to book a reservation first, but this is truly one of the most beautiful rooftop bars in all of Paris – it makes sense they chose to film here!
Hôtel Dame des Arts is the rooftop where Alfie calls Mindy while she’s in Venice!
